Emi Kuraya (b. 1995, Kanagawa, Japan) is a contemporary artist known for her oil and watercolor paintings that explore the emotions and subtle dynamics of adolescence. A graduate of Tama Art University in Tokyo, where she majored in oil painting, Kuraya's work often centers on the portrayal of young girls, particularly those navigating the emotional complexities of puberty. Since 2018, she has been part of the Kaikai Kiki art group, founded by renowned artist Takashi Murakami.
