Unlike the Open Edition Companions, this version features the character dressed in overalls, with a slumped posture and elongated nose, evoking themes of shame and self-reflection reminiscent of Pinocchio.

The Small Lie Companion originally debuted as a 30-foot-tall African hardwood sculpture at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in the UK before being released as a collectible vinyl figure. This brown edition incorporates earthy tones that emphasize the warmth and depth of the figure’s melancholic stance.
